Hush & Breathe... Nicole's newest book was just released (May 2009)! Breathe: Finding Freedom to Thrive in Relationships after Childhood Sexual Abuse
A least one out of every three women and one out of every six men have experienced some form of sexual abuse. Regardless of the circumstances of the violation, every survivor can attest that it will impact relationships with parents, friends, spouses, children, and God. Sexual abuse survivors are often left feeling isolated and without anyone to trust. But it does not have to be this way.
All of Nicole's books are available online and in local bookstores and are touching lives all over the world! Are you a survivor? Know someone who is struggling to be one? Did you know that 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 6 boys are sexually abused by the age of 18? Nicole Bromley suffered the silent shame of childhood sexual abuse for many years until she realized that the silence had to be broken for healing to begin. If you were ever told to "HUSH," then you've been there, too. The words of Nicole's new book, HUSH, are fuel for healthy relationships. They reveal how intimacy can trigger issues from the past and how to overcome those barriers to love. As Nicole writes, "Sexual abuse isn't about sex. It's about power and control. Don't let your abuser wield this power any longer. You deserve to be believed. You deserve to heal." Come to the Source of all comfort. You don't have to suffer alone or in silence. May the silence be broken. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ MySpace users -- show your support and add a friend! Also join the OneVOICE group on FaceBook :)
