Nicole speaks from the heart of one who has learned to thrive, no matter the circumstances. Having been viewed as the “perfect girl” all her life, excelling as an athlete, scholar, artist, and class leader, she appeared to have it all. But at the age of 14, she realized her entire childhood had been ravaged by the torment of sexual abuse. Nicole tells her story in an effort to educate and raise awareness about this trauma, and to offer hope and strength to others, by sharing her own journey from victim to Victory Over Impossible CircumstancEs. She communicates the overwhelming effect sexual abuse can have on a life, but empowers students and adults to work together to overcome this issue, working toward healthy relationships, decisions, and adulthood.

Is the Founder and Director of OneVOICE enterprises; Is a Professional Speaker and International Spokesperson on sexual abuse and assault; Is a frequently featured guest in magazines and on television and radio broadcasts across America.

Nicole’s internationally recognized keynote message is entitled “Our Little Secret.”  Each year, she presents programs to thousands of students in colleges & universities, high schools, middle schools, residential treatment centers, churches and conferences.

Nicole is the author of Hush: Moving from Silence to Healing after Childhood Sexual Abuse (Moody Publishers, 2007).

Nicole is a featured author in Chicken Soup for the Recovering Soul: Daily Inspirations (Health Communications, Inc., 2006).

Nicole is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Heath and Safety Speakers Bureau.

The NCAA Speakers Grant Program gives financial grants to NCAA member schools who sponsor Nicole's presentation.

Nicole is a member of the RAINN Speakers Bureau.

She interned at “EVE, inc.”, a domestic violence shelter and rape crisis center, working to raise awareness about sexual assault and domestic violence, and at the Supervised Visitation & Exchange Center, monitoring and recording child/parent interaction of court-ordered supervised visitations of divorced families. She co-facilitated “The Healing Circle,” a group therapy for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and rape.

Nicole is married to the man of her dreams, Matthew Bromley.
